Is this because nature does'nt know the opposites of right and wrong ![]()
Thus does not recognise what humans imagine to be "errors"
Have you ever wondered why life comes in opposites ![]()
Why eveything you value is one of a pair of opposites?
Why all decisions are between opposites?
Why all desires are based on opposites?

Why opposites?
Nothing is only right or wrong, it depends on perspective.
Nothing is black or white on this planet. We often forget to look for the grey.
There are never only two opinions for one thing. The cross thinker sees the other options.
Is it not our ego that makes us see everything in dualistic way relative to our moods and wishes?
In God/nature there is no dualism. Learn to forget dualism and you live the God inside.-

Nature does not see perspective... human mind does!!
Our social and esthetic values are always put in opposites
even our highest abstractions rest on opposites...
Logic for instance concerned with "True" vs "False"
Epistemology with "appearance" vs "reality"
Ontology with "Being" vs "Nonbeing"
Nature seems to know nothing of the world of opposites
in which "people live"
Nature does not grow "moral trees" and "imoral trees"
nor right or wrong oceans, there is no trace in nature
of ethical mountains and unethical mountains...
Nature is its own...
Our whole life is a manifestation of our thoughts
our life is a mirror of the dominant thoughts we think!!
The grey indeed is important here and cross thinking
is always another perspective... nature does not show perspective it simply is!!
Dulisms does strongly show opposites...
Plato's "Being and Becoming"
Aristotle's "form and matter"
"Yin and Yang" in chinese philosophy
Issues of "God and man"
"Space and time"
"Nature and Nurture"
Indeed the grey is where one should search...
Nature watches us change and shift...
indeed "Nondual freedom and awareness

I think you have made an important mega point here...

Nature is smarter then we can think!!
-
- 2009-10-30 @ 11:38:17
Nature is a senseless, remorseless, impersonal fact.

I do feel so at times Tom!!
Nature it seems knows nothing of the world of opposites
in which "people live"... yet we love nature and repect it
Emmm !!

I just 'Love It' when we are confronted by the 'unknowable inherent in the Natural Order...' Seems to me the only way we can make sense of what we perceive is to translate it into terms which are comprehensible to us - that means imposing upon that which is extraneous to ourselves, our own thought forms...Note, how we interpret the 'behaviour of plants, animals.....Nature Itself!

Very true Bushka

Nature I feel is the key and we do not always have the
right lock
Ken Wilber quoted "Nature is not only smarter then we think.... Nature "IS" smarter then we think!!
We are all aware of so much and yet look at this world!!
It is all down to interpretation indeed

AND....a singular lack of humility in Modern Humans... Socrates said long ago....something like..."All I can know is that I ca never know everything..." That sense of humility seem to be absent in Modern 'Man/Woman'...

Thank you Bushka!!

A wonderful statement by Socrates...
Humility is rare today... and many forms of spiritual
awareness claims they have all the answers...
I feel not.... as Socrates was being honest to himself!!
To question is showing curiosity...
to think you have all the answers is impossible!!
There is much out there to fool us... we feel the need for security within many forms of belief...
inspiration and sincere intention is good when felt within the heart!!
Humility is precious

Modern secular world.....presumptuous of a so-called scientific approach lacks essential humility....Presumptuousness can be regarded as THE Cardinal Sin....in a manner of speaking!

I love the fact that nature does its own thing....so often upsetting we mere mortals who continue to think that we have some sort of control over the outcome of just about anything.
It's why I always come back to the concept of living each day as if it could be my last....which is very freeing

- 2009-10-30 @ 12:19:16

So true!!
We do not really know the outcome and I wish people
could clearly realise this... but it is sadly not
the case with perception and influences from so many
sources.
Indeed living for the "Now"... freeing

The "Shall I, shan't I dilemma?"
It is there just to torment us!
We have the brain power, but two choices
throws our minds out of alignment.
Makes us suffer indecisions.
Meanwhile, Nature laughs, and gets on with it.-

- 2009-10-30 @ 15:00:07
So many people claim they accept life as is
and if one can do that ... they are perfect
No one is perfect and nature looks at those who feel they know all the answers and carries on regardless...
so as Janet says...
live for the Now and freedom will just be....
we do not know all the answers but live our life
with the thoughts which create our aspirations
from what we feel is right... and that is individual
to each and eveyone of us!!
Thank you Charlotte

it feels somtimes that sun after a storm feels more wonderfull
-
- http://juliepenkova.blog.co.uk
- 2009-10-30 @ 19:16:14

as in life too.... calm after a storm...
Events of the heat of the moment... then calm...
and life keeps shifting us in new directions...
Nature has many storms... we sometimes wonder why
as they can be deeply profound and change the earth
atmosphere... maybe for a reason... ???
Thank you

Nature is so powerful, so amazing. It can work with us or against us, so can we. The more we abuse nature, continue to take from the Earth constantly without giving back the more nature will work against us. We need to work with nature, learn from it, nature rules, we need to follow.

I do feel it is to do with external influences
and how from these we make our choices!!
The laws of nature needs to be respected.
As humans we make our own perceptions on what these laws are!!
Some respect nature... others harm it!!
Nature will change and shift !!-
- 2009-11-15 @ 15:10:42
Could it be internal influences at work also? I don't believe nature is remorseless, what she gives, she also takes, hence we balance between life and death, in between the good and bad. This is nature.
I do agree that we need to respect her, but I do wonder whether or not we have the power to harm her?-

Nature does change and shift as seen through the ages!!
regardless of humans interventions!!
I do feel we affect the earth but not as much as the earth
can effect us!!
Simply all we can do is respect nature to the best of our
knowledge!!

Morning!

Nature is the ultimate power and doesn't need to apologize. And in my opinion, things come in opposites to balance our perspective. The ying and yang of it all.
Happy Friday!
